Kristen Knouft, a member of the original team that launched the company in 2000, leads Procurian’s® global marketing efforts. She and her team focus on creating and growing the market for comprehensive procurement solutions; generating demand for Procurian solutions and positioning and building the company’s brand. Kristen also plays a key role in other growth related efforts including acquisitions; strategic partnerships; new market penetration; and new product launches.
Under Kristen’s leadership, numerous industry analyst and advisory firms, including IDC, NelsonHall, and Everest, have recognized the company as a procurement market share leader, while Fortune, Forbes, and other publications have publicly awarded the company for its exceptional capabilities and depth of expertise. In 2012, she spearheaded the comprehensive effort to rename the company (from ICG Commerce to Procurian) and to sharpen its strategic focus on “The New Procurement”.
Prior to joining Procurian, Kristen was a leader within Ernst & Young LLP's Post-Merger Integration practice. In this capacity, she led numerous global engagements that helped recently merged companies develop and implement integration strategies across all areas of the business including Sales & Marketing and Supply Chain Operations. She began her career with Mobil Oil’s Marketing Strategy Group.
